The BESIX-Plenary Group consortium has reached financial close on the Khalifa City School project in Abu Dhabi. The hashtag#project was procured using a supplementary procurement mechanism under the existing Zayed City Schools hashtag#PPP project. The development and implementation of this system for school hashtag#infrastructure, led by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (hashtag#ADIO), represent another achievement for the consortium in the region.For the Abu Dhabi Department of Education And Knowledge - ADEK it was crucial that the Khalifa City School be operational by August 2026, a timeline that could not be met through the traditional procurement process.
